Terms of Service
By engaging Acacia WorX, you agree to our design‑and‑build process, including consultation, CAD design approval, quotation acceptance, and staged payments.
All custom designs, drawings, CAD files, and concept drafts remain the intellectual property of Acacia WorX. We maintain full ownership of all designs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Timeframes may vary depending on project scope, materials, and weather conditions.
We are committed to delivering high‑quality workmanship and clear communication throughout your project.
Warranty & Product Guarantee
Acacia WoodworX stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of every product we make. All products are covered by the following warranty periods from the date of purchase:
- Structural frames & components — 2 years against defects in materials and workmanship
- Surface finishes, stains & coatings — 1 year (2 years for indoor furniture)
- Hardware, fittings & moving parts (swings, hinges, slides) — 1 year
- Manufacturing defects — 2 years
What is covered: Defects in materials or workmanship that arise under normal use and conditions.
What is not covered:
- Fair wear and tear
- Natural timber characteristics such as checking, cracking, deformation or colour variation
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions and maintenance.
- Damage caused by exposure to conditions beyond normal outdoor use (e.g. flooding, fire)
- Consumable items such as ropes, chains, and rubber fittings beyond 12 months
How to make a claim: Contact us at claims@acaciawwx.nz with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos. We will assess your claim and, where warranted, repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
Your statutory rights: Our warranty is in addition to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, which cannot be excluded. For goods purchased for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply.
